see, i told you i was not good at keeping up with things...

so it has been what? 5 months since I last was activly "blogging"? LOL! Well, lets give it another try. :)

I find it hard to find time to actually sit down and write, though I always seem to be conversing in my head what I will be writing about. I thought about writing this blog since yesterday, and so much has gone through my head about what this post should be about. I generally spend a lot of my computer time on Diaper Swappers, because we use cloth diapers on our littlest, and I am always curious about what others are using on their little ones. I recently have become obsessed with wool yarn, because I have always been in love with hand knit "longies" as they call them in the cloth diaper world. They are a pair of hand knit wool pants for baby, that double as a super cute diaper cover. For all you non cloth diapering folk, yes wool is used as a diaper cover, and it is actually the most natural cover you can use on your baby- as opposed to the old "rubber pants" version. (which acutually really don't exist anymore- they have been replaced by other synthetic materials, such as PUL and nylon.

So, anyway, I have some yarn on its way to me that I had purchased a few months back. I plan on having it knitted up into some pants. I do have some yarn with a knitter, Angela from FairyBlue Knits and Yarn, who is making me this lovely pair in a colorway she has called "KaPow!"

They are pictured above. Pretty nice, huh? I really am loving them, and cannot wait to see them in person!
I dont knit, but I wish I could. I have been thinking about going to a knitting circle with my aunt- she attends one at her church- i thought that i could probably learn a lot from the group, but finding time to actually go- well- you can see how often i have time to blog. :)
so i guess i will leave now, hoping to be back tomorrow, or at least once more this month. Thanks, Angela, for knitting such beautiful pants for my son, and I cannot wait to see them irl! (in real life)
